Welcome Mouy Soukhome

Mouy (pronounced “moi”) came to the US as a refugee with her family, after nearly two years in a Thai refugee camp.  Mouy grew up in  Zeeland, Michigan.  She feels fortunate to have lived and grown up, where the community were so kind and generous.  Teachers were patient.  Friends were supportive. During the cold harsh winters, walking the campus, at Ferris State University, she dreamed about living where palm trees sway and where the weather is beautiful year round.  With her degree in Hospitality Management, she knew her dream could be reality someday.  In search of paradise, Mouy has lived in Hilton Head Island, SC; Raleigh, NC and San Francisco, CA, before heading to the Big Island of Hawaii.  Hawaii, it turns out, was the paradise destination Mouy had dreamed about.  Mouy has been in Hawaii since 1999 and has lived on both Maui and Big Island. She is so grateful to be surrounded by so much beauty, aloha, culture and year round beautiful weather.  Mouy brings 7+ years of sales experience ( Business Development and Hotel Sales) and 10+ years of hospitality management experience (Hotel Guest Services Manager).  Clients enjoy working with Mouy because of her friendliness, helpfulness, professionalism, timeliness and trustworthiness. Mouy is extremely excited  and proud to be part of Payden and Company.  With her knowledge, experiences, drive and passion to offer the best services, clients can confidently rely on Mouy in their search of the perfect promotional products/screen printed and embroidered sportswear.

Welcome Diana Benavides

We are pleased to announce the addition of Diana Benavides to our team as a Branded Merchandise Consultant, working out of her Miami, FL office.  Diana is a Business Consultant, Educator and Entrepreneur.  She has an extensive background in Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Public Relations and Leadership.   With her expertise in a variety of industries, Diana brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our clients and their marketing initiatives.

Welcome Joe Morrill

We are pleased to announce the addition of Joe Morrill to our team as a Branded Merchandise Consultant, working out of his Massachusetts office.  Joe began his career in the hospitality industry working in hotels and restaurants as a chef, after graduating from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI, with a degree in Culinary Arts.  He continued to study Business Management and English and moved into the customer service industry, serving as a Team Lead for a disability advocacy group, later being introduced to sales while working as a procurement coordinator.  Joe’s diverse background gives him the ability to understand the individual needs of each customer and their market, treating every order as a project with the customer.  Joe lives in Plymouth, MA with his wife, son and American Eskimo. 

Welcome Stacey Lanphar

We are pleased to announce the addition of Stacey C. Lanphar as our new Branded Merchandise Consultant in the western United States region.  Stacy will be working out of our Las Vegas, NV office and has over six years of experience in the promotional product industry.  Stacey is recognized as having a rare combination of creativity, entrepreneurial moxie and strength in creative and innovative ideas.  She comes to Payden and Company with a seasoned understanding of the promotions landscape, a wealth of corporate merchandising experience and a trusted network of production partners that will bring clarity and focus to her customer's brands and businesses.

Gillette Stadium Product Show

Attached is our invitation to our annual industry trade show, where we are able to invite our clients to attend.  It will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd from 11 am until 3pm at Gillette stadium.  

There will be over 200 trade show booths representing hundreds of manufactures at the show.  It’s a great opportunity for you to get ideas for your future marketing initiatives, as well as products for sales and employees incentives.  Many of our vendors will have samples and catalogs for you to take.

The Rotary Club of Providence

The Club organizes social events, working hands-on to help disadvantaged children in Providence and in other countries. This month Jenny Miller, President of the club, and 3 other Rotarians have set out to do some really great things in the Dominican Republic. They will be participating in  Clean Water and Sanitation Education.

They are  hoping to install water filters and give the people of the bateys the opportunity to have clean drinking water, for the first time ever.  They are going to educate the leaders of the bateys how to teach their members about sanitation and healthy habits, giving them a opportunity for a healthier lifestyle. They also plan to visit schools on the bateys and in the city of La Romana.

They will be bringing over 200 lbs of donations, including over 1,000 pencils donated by Payden & Company.

Record Sales in 2013

Payden, managing partner of Payden and Company, LLC, announced today that the company had record sales in 2013, with a sales increase of 14% over 2012.  ”We are very pleased with our continued growth over the last 12 years.  This has only been possible because of our fantastic staff and sales force, who continue to provide our clients with unsurpassed service, the loyalty of our great clients and the partnerships we have forged with our preferred vendors.  Although the growth we experienced was lower than the 24% in 2012 and the 20% in 2011,  we are very pleased in light of the relatively soft economy last year.”  Payden projects continued double digit growth as the economy improves in 2014 and with the continued effort to increase their sales staff and US presence.

10th Product Show Announced

Payden and Company will be holding their 10th Annual Product Show on Wednesday September 18th, 2013. The show will be held at the Radisson Airport Hotel in Warwick, RI. Show hours are 11 AM until 4 pm.

Over 30 factories will be displaying their promotional product and sportswear lines. It’s a great time to see products and get ideas for your holiday gift needs or next years marketing plans.

Allison Gill Joins Payden and Company

Payden and Company Reports Record Sales Increase

Payden and Company is pleased to announce a record sales increase of over 24% for 2012. According to Payden, Managing Partner for the company, “after a great sales increase of 20% in 2011, we anticipated strong growth for 2012 and we have exceeded our expectations. Thank you to our sales force, support staff, and vendors for helping to provide this growth. A very special thank you to all of our clients nationwide who have helped in our growth and made it all possible. We had excellent growth in all regions of the country with an exceptional increase in sales on the West Coast.

Company Announces Sales Increase

Payden and Company, LLC increased sales by 20% in 2011 over 2010 sales. According to Payden, the managing partner of the company, “we are very pleased at this extraordinary growth we experienced in 2011! Especially, in light of the general softness of the economy. I would like to say thank you to all of our clients who made this growth possible. Also, a special thanks to our sales force and support staff. Without them and the superior customer service they provide, this would not have been possible.”

According to Payden, “the company has experienced 29% sales growth since 2009 and anticipates strong growth in 2012. We are seeing indications that the economy is getting stronger. We anticipate that this will help provide another good growth year.”

8th Annual Product Show

Grown Ups- the new Adam Sandler movie

If you happen to catch the new Adam Sandler movie that’s in theaters on 6/25/10, be sure to look for the shirts, hats and shorts worn by the actors portraying the Water Wizz employees. Payden and Company provided the screen printed t-shirts and shorts, as well as the embroidered hats, used in the filming. Water Wizz has been our client for many years and was happy to refer the costume designer for the movie to our company.

7th Annual Customer Show Announced

The 7th Annual Promotional Product and Sportswear show will be held on September 23rd, 2010 at the Radisson Airport Hotel in Warwick, RI. Over 50 manufacturers will be setting up product displays for our clients to view and get marketing ideas for their future promotions as well as customer and employee holiday gifts. There will be many product samples available as well as some great ideas. According to Payden, ” we expect over 150 of our clients to attend. Those who do, find it very beneficial and a great way to see an abundance of products all at once.”

6th Annual Showcase Update!

Our 6th Annual Product Showcase was a great success! Over 125 of our clients were in attendance to preview the latest product introductions, which included many new garment styles as well as many new promotional products. Many came away with new ideas for holiday gifts for both their employees and clients.

Thank you to all of of vendors who support us by exhibiting at the show and show us support throughout the year. It’s partners like you that make us successful and enable us to provide quality and service to our clients that is second to none.
